After the first day of solar evaporation, young salt is hand gathered from traditional salt pans. Baby Salt Crystals develop and float like a flower in the Sea Water after the first day. This Young Salt is known in French as 'Fluer De Sel,' which translates to 'Salt Flower.' From the second day forward, these crystals become larger and settle to the bottom of the salt pans. The flower-like structure breaks down into flakes as Young Salt when we hand collect it while floating. This salt is regarded as the tastiest salt on the planet! The salt is naturally rich in minerals and contains traces of several of them! This salt is also known as the Queen of Salt because it is one of the most expensive.
